Registration and Trials explains how families sign up for Whitecaps London programs and how older players attend trials for competitive and high-performance teams.
Registration
The Registration page provides a clear overview of all current and upcoming programs at Whitecaps London and how families can get started at each stage of the pathway. It begins with open-access grassroots and development programs such as Future Caps (U4–U7), Recreational House League (U8–U18), and JR Caps/CAPS teams (U8–U12), where players register directly without trials. These programs are designed to be welcoming, development-focused, and accessible, with registration completed through standard program sign-ups and optional orientation sessions rather than selection-based tryouts.
The page also outlines competitive and high-performance pathways including OPDL (U13–U17), REP, I-Model, EMDSL (U13–U18), Senior teams (U19+), and League1 Ontario U20 and Pro-Am squads. These programs require identification and trial processes, with roster registration typically opening in the fall. Once a player is selected, families receive a coach-issued registration code to complete enrollment. Clear explanations help parents understand expectations, timelines, and how each program fits within the broader Whitecaps London development structure.
All registrations are completed through the club’s centralized SportsEngine system, allowing families to create or access a single account for program registration, waivers, and required documentation. Dedicated links throughout the page direct families to the appropriate registration stream, making the process straightforward and consistent across all programs.
How Registration Is Managed
Registration and trials are coordinated by Whitecaps London’s administrative team in close collaboration with technical staff and coaches. Technical leaders oversee evaluations and trials, ensuring players are assessed in a supportive, development-first environment, while coaches provide guidance and feedback throughout the process. Administrative staff manage documentation, payments, scheduling, and communication to ensure clarity and consistency for families.
Together, this collaborative approach reflects the club’s commitment to transparency, fairness, and accessibility—helping families confidently navigate registration at every stage of the Whitecaps London pathway.
