Cam Vassallo — Executive Director
Role: Finance, budgeting, resource stewardship, and operational sustainability.
Background: Cam is one of the pioneers of youth soccer in southwestern Ontario. As the founder of Whitecaps London and a long-serving member of the EMSA Board, he has helped shape the structure and standards of competitive soccer in the region. Highly respected by coaches, administrators, and officials alike, Cam ensures Whitecaps London remains financially strong, well-organized, and positioned to deliver exceptional value to families.
Abbi Lezizidis — President
Role: Governance, community relations, member support, and club oversight.
Background: Abbi is deeply rooted in community advocacy and inclusion. He founded the Shine the Light Tournament and helped launch the Boys to Men mentorship initiative, creating safe spaces for boys to learn about respect, leadership, and women’s advocacy. He represents Whitecaps London throughout the community — from the Santa Claus Parade to League1 match ceremonies to meetings with city officials — always championing the growth, safety, and enjoyment of every child in the club.
David Briand — Managing Director
Role: Strategic leadership, club operations, high-performance programming, and long-term vision.
Background: David is a retired entrepreneur with a strong record in building systems, scaling organizations, and leading teams with clarity and intention. Known for his strategic mindset and operational discipline, he brings a results-driven approach to modernizing Whitecaps London. His work focuses on elevating player development, strengthening community trust, and building pathways that help young athletes grow on and off the field.
