Whitecaps London maintains a zero-tolerance policy for harassment of any kind. The club is firmly committed to creating and preserving a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for every player, coach, parent, and official. Harassment—whether physical, verbal, emotional, or psychological—undermines the integrity of sport and the well-being of those involved. Whitecaps London stands behind the Ontario Soccer Association’s (OSA) Harassment Policy and encourages all coaches and team officials to review and adhere to it.
The club’s primary goal is to act in ways that protect the health, safety, and dignity of every participant. Coaches, assistant coaches, managers, and officials must conduct themselves in a manner that reflects leadership, professionalism, and care. At no time should a coach or team official be alone with a player. All interactions should occur in visible, supervised environments to maintain transparency and trust.
Whitecaps London believes that a supportive and positive team environment allows every player to reach their full potential. Coaches are responsible for ensuring that all players feel valued, that every skill level is respected, and that playing time is distributed fairly. They are expected to know and follow the rules of the game, uphold the spirit of fair competition, and model respect toward referees, opponents, and spectators at all times.
All club members are required to uphold the values and principles set out by both Ontario Soccer and Whitecaps London. Through this policy, the club affirms its ongoing commitment to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable experience for all who participate in our programs.
