OPDL trials for the 2027 season take place from Tuesday, October 20 to Sunday, October 25. Every girls age group from U14 to U17 has three sessions, all at 1Password Park Turf in St. Thomas. Girls born from 2010 to 2013 can take part. Current OPDL players are welcome, and so are players who play Regional & District or EMDSL now.
If you signed up before September 1, your player may already have been invited to the first phase of OPDL sessions. These dates are additional evaluations, so coaches can see each player more than once.
Session times
Until the last session on October 25, every session for the U14, U15, U16 and U17 girls is in the schedule at the bottom of this page, with its day, start time and finish time. The U16 and U17 girls share their three sessions. Each session drops off the schedule once it has ended, so the list always shows what is still to come.
What to bring
Arrive 10 minutes before the start time. Wear athletic clothing and bring your own water bottle. Shin guards are mandatory, and a player cannot train without them. Dress for the weather, because October evenings on the turf can turn cold.
How to sign up
Every player needs to register for trials first. Use the trials registration form. The short address is caps.fyi if you want to type it on a phone or share it with another family.
Not sure OPDL is the right level yet? The academy-ready quiz takes a few minutes and shows where your player fits today. The OPDL program page explains the standards and the weekly commitment.
If you have a question about an age group, a missed session or anything else, call or text (548) 488-2662, 10 am to 7 pm, and a coach will get back to you.
